Product defect, Electrocuting from right earpiece from possible grounding problems

The build quality is very good, sound quality is good, packaging is good, however the electrocuting problem in my right ear when using is a bit concerning and I am quite disappointed. I stopped using it and I want a refund

I bought these during a sale as a replacement for the 1MORE Quad Driver I bought in 2020, which was an upgrade from the Triple-driver bought in 2017. Both old sets are still working, which is way beyond standard warranty, but the copper wiring near one of the earbuds of the triple driver is now visible, and the rubber protection next to the angled headphone jack of the quad driver is torn, visible damage to the paint job and foam ear cushions after years of heavy use. I like the sound. It fares well in comparison with over-the-ear wired same-price offerings from Audio-Technica, Sony, and Sennheiser. They stay in your ears when you cycle or run. The microphone is okay, but could use more background noise isolation (fixable in software). The headphone design is sleek and futuristic. The artsy box included a USB-C adapter cable this time, as opposed to the two-prong airplane adapter on the set I got in 2020, which is a welcome change. Try the foam tips. They provide better noise isolation and are more form-fitting than the silicon ones.
