I'm truly amazed what you can get for the price. These headphones are excellent, with amazing clarity considering the size of the tweeters. Wired headphones are always a hassle, but I'm quite sure that if you are considering these headphones, you are not here for the ease of use but for the sound quality.
The wires don't produce much noise when used outside walking / running, which is a bonus. There is of course some noise, but it's very subtle compared to my previous headphones.
Compared with my Sennheiser HD598 over-ear open-back headphones, the sound profile is quite different. The Sennheisers produce a wider, warmer sound. However, I really appreciate the clarity of the 1MORE Penta Driver Headphones. When comparing these two headphones, my Sennheisers started to sound even a bit muddy, even though I have loved these headphones over the years.
The sound quality of the 1MORE Penta in-ear headphones is very much linked to the correct selection of earplugs. I use the largest plugs, and it seems that my ear canals are quite large, as the my right ear doesn't have perfect sealing even though I'm using the largest option. It's still good enough not to affect the overall sound quality. With smaller cups, the lack of bass is really disturbing, so please take your time to find the best cups for your ears.
I'm pairing these headphones with the IFI Go Link DAC and have nothing to complain about. I haven't tried more expensive in-ear headphones so I cannot give a fair comparison with them. When looking for new headphones, the Sennheiser IE200:s were also an option at the time of purchase. The reviews regarding the Sennheisers almost always commented on the noise created by the wiring when on the move, so I opted for the 1MORE Penta Drivers, and at least in that respect, the Pentas do not produce much noise.
As said before, wired headphones are always a hassle compared to true wireless alternatives, but at least I am willing to offer the ease of use for better sound quality, which is what you get with these headphones. I'm very happy with my purchase!

The best in-ear headphones I could imagine. They sound PERFECT.
I first came across the quad when it first came out and I never thought or bought another earphone. It was absolutely amazing and recently after a couple years with my earphones I lost my right earbud at the airport and was looking to purchase some earbuds. Then to be absolute surprise I saw a new 1more earbud and it was the new penta! I bought it instantly, and after two weeks of it, it not only improves the sound quality but it feels so much lighter. I wasn't sure I'd like the over ear design as I've never had that before but they're excellent because of the high build quality and lightweight design throughout.
Definitely buy it and give it a try, these guys make amazing earphones 😄❤️
I enjoyed the previous model of 1More earbuds; the quad drivers but the new Penta driver earbuds are a lot better sounding and fitting than those are. These are a definite upgrade from those. The Penta drivers are a lot louder and clearer and they won’t fall out of your ears even if you move your head a lot due to the way the wires sit behind on your ears. Very nice feeling to wear and even nicer sounding.
