Surprising versatility in small package

I already owned a pair of Melomania 1 and a pair of Soundpeats Air 3.
Though I read about it, I really was disappointed at first, that they did not even support AptX. However, I did not by them for sound quality, but for their size (you can lie on your side in bed without hurting your ears). And this were they delivered. I regularly fall asleep when listening to audiobooks. They are comfortable to wear and stay put in every situation up to now.
Sound quality improved when I switched the BT connection from SBC to AAC on my Realme X50 Pro and I don't lack anything, especially when outside.
Passive noise reduction is already excellent with the gel tips, something the great sounding Melomania can only achieve with foam tips. Transparency mode helps me in commute or when I expect people talking to me so I don't have to take the Comfobuds out of my ears.
ANC on high could have been better compared to the low setting (which does the job well in most situations) and also adds an uncomfortable high frequency hiss to the sound. Nevertheless it is useful in a loud subway, probably on planes, too. The low setting is less tiring for my ears though.
The Wind Reduction setting works great. We had some nasty gusts the past week and ANC blocked most of the wind while leaving me pretty aware of everything else.

Final verdict: I am happy that I got them reduced to ~€65, I would not have paid 100 bucks for them and personally I also think they are not worth it. But 65, we'll priced, especially if shipping is free.
